ReDo Loop – FAQ

What does the PRO plan do?

ReDo Loop has a free plan that has a limit of 15 ReDos that you can use. After that, you can still add tasks but they can’t be completed. The PRO plan removes this limit so you can add and use an unlimited number of ReDos.

I accidentally completed a ReDo

You can Undo a completion in three ways:

  • for a ReDo with a Do Day (Relaxed, Fixed, Positional) you can go to it’s details page, then swipe left on it’s last completion and use the undo quick action. This will revert it’s Do Day to what it was before you mistakenly completed it. You might not even know which one you completed by mistake since it goes to the bottom, you can go to the History page, click the last Completion, that will bring it to the ReDo details page where you can Undo it.
  • for a Once Redo, an Undo pop-up will appear when you complete it so you need to tap that while still visible.
  • for a ReDo without a Do Day (Daily, Anytime) you can go to it’s details page and just delete it’s last completion.

Notification not received or delayed

For iOS:

  • Go toSettings > Notifications > ReDo Loop
    Enable “Allow Notifications”

On Android, notifications can be either inexact or exact (available after granting the “Alarms & reminders” permission). The daily notification is inexact, so it may be delayed by a few minutes. Per-task notifications become exact once you grant that permission.

The following fixes apply if notifications don’t arrive at all, are delayed by 10+ minutes, or only appear when you open the app. For best results, check all of the following

  • Go to: Settings > Notifications > App notifications
Find ReDo Loop and enable notifications if they are turned off.
  • Go toSettings > Battery > Background usage limits
Check if ReDo Loop is listed under “Sleeping apps” or “Deep sleeping apps”. If so, remove it.
Optionally, add it to “Never sleeping apps” for better reliability.
  • Go toSettings > Apps > ReDo Loop > Battery
If “Restricted” is selected, choose “Optimized” or ideally “Unrestricted”. Note: “Optimized” is the default, but it may suppress some notifications under high device load.
  • If task notifications are delayed, go to:
Settings > Apps > ReDo Loop > Alarms & reminders
Enable the permission to allow exact alarms.
